Our Opportunity
Reporting to the State Manager – QLD/NT; the Sales Manager - Commercial is responsible for providing guidance and support to the commercial sales team through strategic planning and direction. Daily responsibilities include the following however are not limited to:
• Monitor daily operations of the commercial sales team; including their performance to meet budget requirements and initiate corrective actions where necessary.
• Actively participate in major dealings with Contractors and Consulting engineers, assisting Commercial Account Managers.
• Provide constant reporting on all planned sales programs and objectives throughout the year.
• Conduct monthly analysis on territory budgets, strategic objectives, activity, competition and projects.
• Provide ongoing support to coach and mentor the Commercial Account Managers & Technical Sales Support team to ensure continual success for the employee and business.

About you
We are committed to our success and can only do this with exceptional employees. To be eligible for this position you must have:
• A minimum of at least 5 years of solid experience within the HVAC industry within the commercial sales environment.
• Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering would be advantageous.
• Demonstrated strong leadership and project management skills in a similar position.
• Ability to gain respect and confidence of staff.
• Has an understanding on how to deal with management level discussions both internally and externally.
• Results focused, with a strong attention to detail.
• A strong desire to work with a global leader; and have a high level of belief of Daikin's values and philosophies.
