What is MEPS?
Minimum Energy Performance Standards (MEPS) specify the minimum level of energy performance that appliances, lighting and electrical equipment must meet or exceed before they can be offered for sale or used for commercial purposes.
Inefficient products are prevented from entering the marketplace by using this minimum energy performance level, and manufacturers are given appropriate signals to increase product efficiency if they are not up to standard.
MEPS are mandatory for a range of products in Australia and New Zealand and all Daikin products pass MEPS where they are required.
