Daikin named Most Reliable Air Conditioner brand at 2024 Finder Retail Awards
Daikin has been crowned Australia’s most reliable air conditioner brand at the 2024 Finder Retail Awards with a perfect trust score of 100%.
It also received Highly Commended awards for value for money and overall customer satisfaction.
To determine the nation’s most loved brands Finder surveyed more than 10,000 Australian consumers about the products they own.
In the air conditioner category respondents were asked to rate their satisfaction level across a range of metrics including performance, cleaning and maintenance, value for money, and useful features.
The results were then collated to determine winners of three different awards: Most Loved, Top Value, and Most Reliable.
Daikin was the only air conditioner brand to receive awards in all three categories, making it the obvious choice for Aussie homes this summer.
Here is how customers scored Daikin in each metric:
- Performance: Daikin’s advanced inverter and heat pump technologies, backed by Japanese technologies, resulted in an average performance score of 4.7/5 in heating and cooling function.
- Ease of Use: Customers found Daikin air conditioners easy to use thanks to their intuitive controls and user-friendly interfaces. This resulted in an average score of 4.6/5 for this metric.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Daikin ACs were also rated highly for their hassle-free upkeep with an average customer score of 4.4/5. The easy-access front panels and air filters simplify the cleaning process, ensuring the units always operate at peak performance.
- Product Features: From energy-saving modes to advanced air purification technologies, there’s no shortage of features when it comes to Daikin air conditioners. Customers returned an average score of 4.5/5 for this metric.
- Value for Money: Despite their advanced features and superior performance, Daikin’s air conditioning systems were considered great value for money by most surveyed customers, with an average score of 4.5.
- Trustworthiness: When it came to trust, Daikin air conditioners received a perfect customer score of 100%.
